Isaiah 6:1 “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and lifted up.”
Isaiah did what we all do. We search for God. We have in each of us a God-shaped emptiness that only God can fill.
John Piper said, “In the end the heart longs not for any of God’s good gifts, but for God himself. To see him and know him and be in his presence is the soul’s final feast. Beyond this there is no quest.”
Try this today. Look beyond your recovery to the God of your recovery. Life knows no greater quest.
Recovery Step: Seek after God today, with your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
