Have you ever been in a store that posts numerous signs that read, “Break it and you pay for it”?
These signs are often found in stores which sell a lot of glass, pottery, or other breakable objects. We tend to walk around very carefully, to make sure we don’t touch anything. No one wants to pay for something they have broken.
God has a different sign. It reads, “Break it and I’ll fix it.”
We all have broken lives. And while we can easily blame our parents, teachers, siblings, or horoscope, in our most honest moments, we admit that we are at fault.
And that’s where God comes in. Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Recovery Step: You already broke it. Now let God pay for it.
